Trump ‘Struggling’ To Pay His Team’s Salaries

But… but… he’s a gazillionaire!

We’re all almost tired of winning, the Trump Transition has been going so well. But one of his top congressional supporters says the Transition is actually struggling to pay salaries. Rep. Chris Collins (R-NY) told a Buffalo area radio station: “Mr. Trump held a fundraiser down in New York City a few weeks back and did raise some money, but they have – I would use the word – ‘struggled’ to raise the private funds needed to pay these individuals who are working on behalf of the taxpayers but not being paid by the government.

The presidential transition is funded with a mix of federal and private funds.

So it’s Kellyanne Conway to the rescue

President-elect Donald Trump’s Campaign Manager-turned-Communications Counselor Kellyanne Conway will visit Buffalo this week for an exclusive fundraiser.

Conway will speak at a Thursday afternoon luncheon at the Westin Buffalo hotel. The $5000 per person event is intended to raise funds to cover the costs of Trump’s transition team, including their salaries.

What about the 75 million that he raised for his inauguration party? Does an American idol runner up, the Rockettes and the Mormon Tabernacle Choir cost that much?

That covers the bill from McDonalds. You probably think McDonalds is pay as you go but for extra-super-smart people with orange “hair” they’ll let you run a tab.

He probably has a sizable tab at KFC. Every time they showed him on his plane he was eating KFC. I wonder what his arteries look like.

Or the plaque build up in his heart.

            Trump has a heart?

Tell him to fire Steve Bannon and revisit his nominations and things might be different. Who would have thought a wealthy man with billions would be struggling to meet a payroll

  4. jybarz January 2nd, 2017 at 04:37

What? He’s paying and not stiffing his people…what changed?

  5. Suzanne McFly January 2nd, 2017 at 11:33

So in this speech Kellyann is giving, she is having to put on a show to earn a paycheck? Isn’t there already a term for that kind of work? I heard it was the oldest profession, can anyone help me out with the job title? It is escaping me at the moment….

“putain” is perfect except it insults real sex workers – but for kellyann, perfect!

If a self-proclaimed billionaire is “struggling” to pay the salaries of his team, it’s only because he doesn’t want to, and places no value on their work. He’s a cheat, just as he has been with the contractors he stiffed in the past. “Brilliant businessman.” F*cking piker, more like it.

A billionaire struggling to find other people to pay his bills, this is certainly making America great again

    • ohpaleasegivemeabreak January 2nd, 2017 at 19:19

If he were actually a billionaire, it would be a shock.

Putin and his Russian friends will probably cover it, but we will never know.

kind of cool if there was only kellyann and an empty hotel

  11. granpa.usthai January 3rd, 2017 at 00:07

    (thanks for the opening doc)

ahem: granpa’s appropriate pay for military personnel of the trump government that is somewhere between a betrayed republic and all out nazistic dictatorship.

no government official in this new government should be receiving more pay or benefits or cash pay more than the basic military recruit.

military personnel are the ones who are putting their lives and the discomforts of their families on the line for this government. WTF should these gang of thieving near nazis be receiving outrageous cash pay with unbelievable benefits for double speaking out of both sides of their lying mouths at the same time in some newton cases apparently faster than the technology of the current media is incapable (or unwilling) to decipher when it’s their 3rd go round in my lifetime of plundering the US Treasury while those who defend this new form of government get the same old ‘honoring’ of lying bs by those who wear us flag pins on their fascist lapels? I say let their total compensation be no greater than that of the basic recruit. There being two just ways of fair and appropriate pay for the military personnel:

the basic recruit in the military receives the same total compensation as the highest paid government official ~ the highest paid government official receive total compensation no greater than that of the basic military recruit.

either way IS fair and most certainly appropriate considering what the future appears to be holding.

let that be the very first matter signed into law by the incoming leader of this new government!
