Ex-NYC police chief pledges tougher police policies under Trump

Ray Kelly says with Trump in office they’ll work harder to track and monitor immigrants.

“I think we need some deeper vetting, deeper examination of people who are coming in,” Kelly said in an interview with John Catsimatidis on AM 970 in New York on Sunday.

“I think it is necessary in this day and age,” Kelly continued. “Certainly I think the public wants a higher degree of comfort as to who’s coming in at this time, and I think we are going to have to devote additional resources to examining the backgrounds of individuals coming in, where they live, where their relatives are.”

“I think it’s absolutely necessary to do a much deeper dive on people’s backgrounds.”

    “people who are coming in”?
Despite crime being on the decline, he implies danger because of ‘the other’ and through white ignorance he keeps their fear turned up to 11.
Why doesn’t he just say ‘them coloreds’?

      Exactly…
And ‘Kelly’ seems to have forgotten the plight of his own ancestors..
      Who migrated here…:)

So it’s the immigrants that Ray Kelly says are committing all the crimes?
Just like those Irish ‘Kelly’s who flooded into America in the early 1800’s who couldn’t feed themselves in their homeland, (potato famine) and came to our shores to take from Americans what we Americans earned through hard work and pulling up the boot straps…

How dare this ‘mick’ condemn any new arrival to this great nation without first living in their shoes..
    (a little sarcasm)

If it weren’t for the Great Hunger (what the Irish call the Potato Famine,) we likely wouldn’t have bluegrass…

        or St. Patrick’s Day…and green beer…

        • bpollen December 25th, 2016 at 17:43

It’s not so much that we wouldn’t have green beer – it’s more a matter of “Why do we want GREEN beer? What’s wrong with its usual pee color?”

“Certainly I think the public wants a higher degree of comfort as to who’s coming in at this time…”

Then sockcuckers like you and your mates should stop HYPERVENTILATING about how the immigrants to this country aren’t vetted, how they are chock full o’ terrorists, how they all have ISIS phones, they’re all young men, Islam is evil…
