Ex-CIA Officer: Skipping briefings makes Trump ‘sound like an idiot’
Former CIA officer Glen Carle had much to say about Donald Trump on my radio show Monday night. We addressed the intelligence report that Russia meddled with the U.S. election to favor Trump and Trump’s attack on the intelligence agencies.
Carle told me there are definitely connections between Russia and his administration that would make him beholden to the wishes of Vladimir Putin. Carle also said from his experience dealing with people while in the CIA, he thinks President-Elect Trump’s personality makes him vulnerable to outside influences, and that when he said he’s “smart” and doesn’t need daily intelligence briefings, it actually makes President-Elect Trump “sound like an idiot.”

One can be both intelligent and ignorant, but it take a minimum amount of “smarts” to understand the distinction.

Trump might want to stay on good terms with the intelligence community. After he becomes president every Trump property, business holding, and family member will be very soft target.

well if he looks like an idiot, and sounds like an idiot, I don’t want to jump to any conclusions but from the evidence it seems he is an idiot
