Click here for reuse options!What Trump didn’t mention…is that the deal he and Vice President-elect Mike Pence helped broker won’t prevent Carrier from outsourcing more jobs than are being saved in Indiana. The company will keep about 800 jobs at the Indianapolis plant, but will still move 600 jobs from Indianapolis to Mexico. Another 700 jobs are being moved to Mexico from a separate factory in Huntington, Indiana, which will be closed.
In sum, about 800 American jobs are being saved, but another 1,300 are disappearing. Those painful details were acknowledge in a letter Carrier sent to affected workers on Thursday that was posted to Twitter by Indianapolis-based journalist Rafael Sánchez.

Just for laughs, I went to the fox site. Nothing about Carrier at all. I even did a search on the front page, and on business, for “carrier” and found nothing. Which is exactly what I expected to find.

something else we learned today. it makes sense that tRump would not “punish” Carrier and give them 7mil courtesy of the tax payers to save only 800 jobs, he has stock in its parent company. so, if the 800 in IN think he did this for them, then they deserve the disappointment to follow.

tax payers are footing the bill and more jobs are leaving anyway, tRump has interest in the company. the epic fail is you. a good deal is Obama bailing out the auto industry and getting that money back with interest, NOT passing the bill to the tax payers. “bring” not “being” and 800 refugees is a drop in the bucket. those refugees will also work and pay taxes, just like immigrants who pay billions in taxes each year, something your racist-in-chief and con artist doesn’t do.
