Ryan overreacts: Calls to suspend classified briefings for Clinton

Posted by | October 28, 2016 17:11 | Filed under: News Behaving Badly Politics

What may turn out to be a nothingburger is having Republicans jump for joy, and misinterpret what is actually happening.

U.S. House of Representatives Speaker Paul Ryan on Friday renewed his call for U.S. intelligence officials to stop giving Hillary Clinton classified briefing typically given to presidential candidates in the wake of FBI Director James Comey’s letter citing additional emails now under review.

“This decision, long overdue, is the result of her reckless use of a private email server, and her refusal to be forthcoming with federal investigators. I renew my call for the Director of National Intelligence to suspend all classified briefings for Secretary Clinton until this matter is fully resolved,” Ryan said in a statement referring to the former secretary of state.

Seems Paul Ryan’s biggest priority is providing headlines for Fox News

hmmm…A lack of good judgement on the part of Paul Ryan…typical….and he is third in line…we should never be able to sleep knowing that…

If anything, Ryan should have stopped giving Tramp security briefing because he’s in direct communication with Putin…his BFF man-love.

They are now in full over-blow mode, too bad for them we still have 11 days and most will realize again this is nothing.

Speaker Ryan needs to STFU about emails and head over to the other side of the Capitol building. If he insists on telling other people how to do their jobs, why not talk to his colleagues in the Senate?

There he could actually do some good by reminding the GOP Senate leadership that they need to do their damn job and hold confirmation hearings for the President’s Supreme Court nominee.

I think Ryan is just trying to do something to save his sorry ass once the election is over.
He can’t help it, the Trumpkins see Ryan as “establishment” and I think there will be some mighty nasty fighting between Republicans blaming each other for the loss, especially if the Democrats win back the Senate and make big gains in the House.
I think there will be GOP blood on the floor ankle-deep. Ryan’s life is going to be a living hell when all that hate is directed at him and others.

In all fairness, this poor slob is watching his party implode. He’s neck deep in sewage, and somebody threw a bucket of crap named Trump at him. Does he duck or what?https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/919d5b8d17201a2454c03c58941dbdea5e3c39780abc7e6cd4f24d186b67f34f.jpg

if this is another line of RepubliCON BS over nothing that results in not being prosecuted, I expect Ryan and all the other DEPLORABLES to resign their positions immediately with signed legal documents that they will never attempt to interfere with US Policies for the remainder of their lifetimes. If they refuse, charge them with domestic terrorism and ship them off to North Korea until every connection they have with the American peoples is permanently severed.
