Trump evangelical advisor: he deserves ‘punch in the head’

Posted by | October 11, 2016 08:20 | Filed under: Politics Religion

What would Jesus do? This GOP evangelical would likely answer, “Left hook to Trump’s chin”:

James MacDonald, who is a member of Trump’s own Evangelical Executive Advisory Council… rips the candidate for his behavior as captured in the now-infamous “pussy grab” video, and says that he must repent immediately or risk losing his support.

“Mr. Trump’s comments released yesterday — though 10 years ago (he was 60) — are not just sophomoric or locker room banter,” MacDonald wrote. “They are truly the kind of misogynistic trash that reveals a man to be lecherous and worthless — not the guy who gets politely ignored, but the guy who gets a punch in the head from worthy men who hear him talk that way about women.”

Amazingly, though, MacDonald still isn’t withdrawing his support for Trump — instead, he’s merely threatening to do so if the candidate does not show true contrition and repentance.

Wait……what? Trump has an “evangelical advisor”? Isn’t that somewhat analogous to Hitler having a personal Rabbi?

Not just one advisor, but an entire “council.” I wonder if they regret getting mixed up with this circus yet.

… or Jeffry Dahmer having a vegan sous chef.

So let me get this straight. Rump has to repent so he will continue to be supported? The words out of Rump’s mouth aren’t enough? What a joke!!

Either repent or send over a big check.

Cash only, they should at least know that by now. ;)

Are the Evangelicals selling indulgences? I thought that went out with the Reformation.

What the hell does that even mean, show true repentance and contrition? Seems to me that would be a purely subjective experience.Trumps entire life reveals who he is,and the religious people who think he is changing now to meet their standards in some religious test, are fooling themselves. If they could hear what he says behind closed doors, maybe they would realize that he is all show.

Can I fill in for this wavering “evangelical” and punch rump in his head? I bet a kick in his a$$ would work better, his brain would hurt.

I’m thinking both of them need a punch in the head.

      Both of them.
