PA mayor posts lynching, monkey memes about Obama

The never learn. Ignorance can’ be cured here.

The mayor of a small central Pennsylvania town remains unapologetic after coming under fire for posting racist memes on his Facebook page, one of which calls for the lynching of President Barack Obama.

West York Mayor Charles Wasko told the Associated Press on Thursday that he was the victim of a “witch hunt” after several local council members asked for his resignation over the offensive posts.

One features a still of Clint Eastwood holding a noose, from the film “The Good, The Bad and The Ugly,” with a caption reading, “Barry, this rope is for you. You wanna bring that empty chair over here!”

Another shows a wheelbarrow full of orangutans with the caption, “Aww…moving day at the Whitehouse has finally arrived. “Kenya or bust” is inscribed on the side of the wheelbarrow. A third, of a grinning chimpanzee, is labeled “Moochelles baby photo,” in an apparent reference to the first lady.

His town, and his family, must be so proud. 25% of the population of York is African American. I hope the citizens of York make a stink about this, and force him from office.

Racist mocking,is bad enough, but calling for the “lynching” the murder of a president,is a freaking Gd crime!!! Incitement to violence is a crime.Where are the law forces? Why do they allow this? Not only should this obnoxious pig be impeached,he should be arrested. At the very least he should have received a visit from the secret service.I see little hope for this country with the many others who display this same ignorance.Where are the voices of our do nothing so-called leaders? There remainingsilent gives the impression that it is ok for a pig holding public office,to insinuate that the president should be lynched. We are Pathetic!

this is the kind of sht that the world outside your borders sees and the reaction is not what any sane person would want. How do you all live in the same neighborhood, from sea to shining sea, with trash like this?

It’s not easy. The tough part is indeed having to live through it.
The only way I find to keep it bearable is to look back through history and realize that this country is not the only one that has suffered thorough crazy people existing on the planet. Racism has no boundaries and sadly it appears, a half life of forever.

Not all Americans are this crazy, but I suspect that inbreeding is rapidly moving north, which explains why asinine remarks like that of the mayor’s are so prevalent.

Isn’t this low life bastard a little late and un-original?
I hope because of this, someone will actually have him on the noose or whatever…just do it.

My landlady in Lansing MI was pushing the ape stuff in the early 60’s. Nothing new here, just recycled rubbish.

Pennsylvania has been described as Philadelphia in the east. Pittsburgh in the west, and Alabama in the middle. This mayor seems to show the truth to that statement.
