Leaked Russian Emails: Team Putin directing Ukraine chaos

Russia falls “victim” to an e-mail leak that ties them directly to their surrogates in the Ukraine:

The emails from Russia were pretty straightforward: The government in Kiev was to be referred to as fascist and compared to puppet dictatorships whenever possible. News reports were to mention as often as possible that the puppet master was the United States.

For good measure, the Russian advisers even insisted that media handlers in the so-called “People’s Republic of Donetsk” provide a daily count of how many stories featured the phrase “It’s worse in Ukraine.” …

The emails make clear that the instructions on how to handle the Malaysia Airlines tragedy were far from an isolated attempt by Russia to direct how the separatists dealt with the news. Die Zeit said one of the emails even mentioned four Russian advisers by name, describing them as “technologists and media officers.”

Half an hour later, a second email came through, asking the recipient to “please delete our last names.”

Yeah. That could ruin the illusion of impartiality.

[T]he emails frequently included the abbreviation AP, a well-known shorthand in Russia for presidential administration.

One of the emails included an attachment of a Luhansk information ministry manual on how to control and manipulate the media. The manual, titled “Strategy of internal information policy in the Luhansk People’s Republic,” listed its publication address as “Luhansk/Moscow.”

In it, the separatists were told how to control the reporting of television and radio stations and of newspapers. The government in Kiev consistently was to be called “fascist.”

Now that’s perception management Putin style!

Ok then…Maybe it was the 400 lb. guy sitting on the bed? We seem to have been waging a low information, low key miniwar with the Ruskies…more like a playground shoving match right now, but could escalate into something more sinister…Putin is being patient, he is placing his pieces, he is running the disinformation, misinformation, and cyber intelligence gathering program, and his election tampering in our country…President Obama, has been diligent even without the backing of the Congress, the fucking traitors…there is only so much PBO can do without a unified Congress and UNITED STATES OF AMERICA….these folks don’t realize just how dangerous a game they are playing with MY security from foreign powers…the republicans all across this nation, have signaled to our friends and enemies alike, our divided state…which is our greatest weakness…Trump must be totally destroyed in November, before he gets us all killed…

Part of the problem is that too many congressmen don’t understand technology in the first place, including computers and the internet. If they didn’t hire staff that are a third their age, they would be completely lost. That’s why our laws that cover communications are still based on telephone and telegraph, and don’t even mention the internet.

I agree. Contrary to popular belief, Putin’s no dummy. He’s very smart and cunning. The Russians have been spying on other countries for years, but nobody knew because they kept everything low key.
Putin’s not stupid, and if anybody can bring down the US, it’s Russia. And if Trump thinks that Vlad is his “best bud”, he has another think coming. Putin has a way of deceiving idiots and low level thinkers, like Trump, for his own personal gain.

I never bought the story where the Ukraine’s can take a crash course on how to shoot down a commercial jet with a BUK missile on the first shot.
