The Standing Rock Sioux Tribe in North Dakota has been protesting the construction of a section of a pipeline that tribal leaders say would violate sacred and culturally sensitive grounds and possibly pollute water.       The people protesting should be thanked. Obama did what he did because of pressure from the protesters. He fast tracked the approval of this pipeline without addressing all of the environmental concerns.

        From what I’ve been reading, the Army corps of engineers was at fault.
        The fact that Jill Stein was there and the pipeline goons were using pepper spray and dogs against the protesters were only exasperating the entire situation. Obama put a stop to it (temporarily). Thanks were in order.
        Plenty of time to assign responsibility later.
