Trump defended victim-blaming with women in the military

At the Wednesday night candidate forum Donald Trump stood by his 2013 tweet that women in the military is a problem.

…Trump stood by his past comment that military sexual assaults should be expected “when they put men and women together” in the US armed forces during an NBC-hosted forum Wednesday night. But he added that a “court system” should be set up in the military to better deal with what he called “a massive problem.”

“26,000 unreported sexual assaults in the military-only 238 convictions. What did these geniuses expect when they put men & women together?” Trump had tweeted in 2013…

When asked about the tweet by moderator Matt Lauer, Trump didn’t back down.

“I think that that’s absolutely correct,” he said during the forum.

When asked by Lauer if that meant the “only fix is to take women out of the military,” Trump said: “No, not to kick them out.”

“But something has to happen,” he said. “Right now part of the problem is nobody gets prosecuted. You have reported … you have the report of rape and nobody gets prosecuted.”

At what level does anything Trump says make any sense?

Most US MILT assaults remain U.S. Military men on U.S. Military men: ‘26,000 unreported sexual assults in the military-only 238 convictions. What did these geniuses expect when they put men & men together?’-Trump redux, if he were actually and accurately informed.

What an encouragement to allow our female kids to enlist and serve in our armed forces…
    The man is sick.

He doesn’t want us to join, he wants us home where we can “wait” on our man.

    .
And here I thought Trump knew his bible. If he did, he’d know men aren’t responsible for anything they do. After all, Eve was the one who blew it for women everywhere. She had to listen to the talking snake (why don’t we see those anymore?), took a bite of the apple, went to Adam, held a Smith & Wesson revolver to his skull and said “you either take a bite, or I’ll blow your f*ckin’ head clean off”. What choice did Adam have?

Uhh… there are more male-on-male sexual assaults than male-on-women in the military. About 25% more. To paraphrase – “What did these geniuses expect when they put men & men together?”

Rapes happen not because of the presence of women,. but because some guys think their d*ck has more rights than their victim does.
