While we have made many technologic advances in the last six or seven decades, we have made no progress in racial relations and racial tolerance. Such a shame, because it is so easy to open your mind and accept people as different but deserving of the same rights as everyone else. It is awful to wake up in the morning wondering if you are going to be mugged or racially profiled or talked down to, and as America becomes more culturally diverse it will be an increasing problem (especially with the baby steps we’ve taken in the last 75 years).
