U.S. men’s basketball team visited brothel: We thought it was a spa

Well, it is a spa of a sort.

Carmelo Anthony said his U.S. men’s basketball teammates need to accept responsibility and move on after reports that three players visited a legal brothel in Rio de Janeiro.

“What’s done is done. We have time off and guys did what they did. We accept those responsibilities and move on,” said Anthony, a four-time Olympian and the elder statesmen of the team.

Anthony was responding to questions about a TMZ report that several players thought they were walking into a spa on their day off Wednesday night, but wound up in a brothel.

Thats better than wandering into a spa thinking its a brothel and winding up arrested for indecency.

I was taken to what I thought was a bar in Puerto Rico. I was close – it was a bar/brothel…

Didn’t pay for a woman, but one of them taught me how to get snarls out of your hair without ripping it out. Wasn’t a total waste of time.
