Last night at the RNC Convention in Cleveland, Trump’s running mate Gov. Mike Pence uttered words that he claims Hillary Clinton said in a Benghazi hearing which made her look like she didn’t care at all about the four Americans that died in the Benghazi attack. Gov. They use that quote out of context every time. Not once have I heard or seen anyone with a Republican agenda use the entire quote. It’s like quoting the Bible this way: “And Cain killed Abel … Go you and do likewise.” Technically it’s correct, but there are a few hundred thousand words in between that change the meaning.

    “What difference does it make?”

Isn’t that essentially what Trump said about his choice of running mate?

They have been taking that sentence out of context and using it against her since the moment she uttered those words. They need to address it, it has become what most believe her reaction to Benghazi was.

    Nothing new for that crowd.

They did the same thing to a speech that Nancy Pelosi gave to a conference of county administration officials, shortly before the ACA was signed into law.

Rep. Pelosi said Congress had to pass the bill so that you can see what is in it. She was referring to her audience who in their official capacities back home would be responsible for implementation at the local level.

She made a perfectly reasonable statement that government officials responsible for implementing the law would not know the scope of their responsibilities until the legislation defining those responsibilities actually became law.

Naturally, lying right wingers misquoted her and tried to claim it was an accidental admission that she did not know what the bill would do.

There may in fact be some conservatives remaining in this country who are not lying deceitful hypocrites. There might also be water on Mars. I am wagering that we will locate that Martian water, first..

I’m curious. On this site we read all the insane and absurd stuff performed by trump and his small friends. This debunking here is easy. How does it appear in the general news and commentary in the usa – is there any possibility that the repug party might actually win through lies and bluster and just plain blsht?
