Issa would like to shut down government because of Hillary Clinton

Posted by | July 16, 2016 10:34 | Filed under: Politics

Congressman Darrell Issa, who previously oppose government shutdowns, now wants to shut down the government because Hillary Clinton isn’t being indicted.

…Issa (R-CA) told Brietbart News Daily that now might be a good time for the Republican leadership to shut down the federal government, in protest of what he called “an imperial president” who will not “enforce criminal charges against a criminal.”

Issa was referring to the lack of charges filed against Hillary Clinton for her private email server.

Said Issa: “We should be willing to shut down the government if the president won’t limit his power.”

Motherfu… I knew this kind of crap would happen.
These morons have no interest in governing responsibly.

Unfortunately, they have a lot of reference material (true or not) with Hillary to treat her as bad as, or worse than, President Obama.
(Not to prolong the lamentations, but… this wouldn’t have been an issue with Bernie.)

I’d say Issa is one of the worst Republicans, but really… it’s not the bad apples that are hard to find in that group, it’s good ones that are the unicorns.

Issa / Gowdy fantasies are FBI debunked, only believed by the low and no information voters.

    (R) Comey testified at Congress staunchly defending the bureau’s decision not to pursue charges. He also said, “We have no basis to conclude that [Clinton] lied to the FBI.”-(R) Comey 07/07/16-FBI Director grilled by the cong show. https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/34315e0ea015d8ec8db5f9e629c9ceb23eec93a5e97976a397651f6b4944d17d.jpg

How can Obama enforce criminal charges that don’t exist?

Of course, Republicans don’t care if the government gets shut down. They continue to collect their paychecks during a shutdown while other federal employees, such as our troops, do not. If you ask me, any member of Congress who is responsible for a shutdown should be fined their yearly salary for every day that a shutdown continues.

Last time I checked, the President doesn’t have the power to indict people or order the DOJ or FBI to not to….
Last time that type of crap went down there was a republican in office by the name of Nixon.
