When it comes to questions over his charitable foundation, Donald Trump’s answers don’t fully add up. On Tuesday, while trying to explain away the latest Trump Foundation dustup, he may have accidentally reopened an earlier controversy. Trump was trying to end speculation over what happened to the nearly $6 million he says he raised for U.S.…

How many Republican voters are feeling really stupid after Trump’s press conference yesterday?

      • Red Mann June 1st, 2016 at 12:03

Probably not too many, recognizing mistakes is not one of their strong suits.

they are purposefully stupid and willfully ignorant, their fingers are in their ears. has been since the announcement.

tRump vetted the charities he was giving to, to make sure he would get a big kick back. Not sure that is the kind of vetting the public wants though.

Rich people tend to be very poor and late payers. He might have keep that money in some short term CD’s and hoped handing all of it over might not happen by stalling.

    Let’s see: $6M @ 1%= $60,000. Jan -May = 4months. $60,000 divided by 3 ( 1% is a full years payout) =$20,000…nice.

I started reading that, and it said “Rich people tend to be very poor…” Wait, what?

    • Mensa Member June 1st, 2016 at 10:03

I don’t have time to double-check, but I remember reading that the poor and middle class are far more generous with their money than the rich and ultra-rich.

” when you send money to companies and charities you never heard of ” Trump is trying very hard not to sound like a mental midget but it’s not working out

People speculate that Trumps tax records show Trump’s almost total lake of philanthropy.

And not to overstate my case — but generosity makes no sense to sociopaths, either.

Part of being well off is because you found good accountant’s and lawyers who know how to rip off the public and the IRS.

This scandal further makes me think Trump is a sociopath.

Morality is dumbfounding to sociopaths. That’s if the morality of a situation even occurs to them.

Trump didn’t understand that Americans give veterans a high moral value.

He thought he could stiff the vets and nobody would bother to look into it. Like he’s stiffed many people before.

Someone who is truly charitable would give in secret. Someone who gives the way he did (assuming he gave anything at all) is doing it only to make himself look good. And that doesn’t make him look good at all. You’re not fooling anyone, Drumpf. You don’t give a sh*t about the vets.

    • Mensa Member June 1st, 2016 at 09:59

And a truly charitable person wouldn’t have needed the press to pressure him into writing the check.

I thought Trump has become a good, Bible believing Christian.

      Matthew 6
6:1 Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them: otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven.
6:2 Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.
6:3 But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth:
6:4 That thine alms may be in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret himself shall reward thee openly.

Tell that to the two Corinthians.

        • Red Mann June 1st, 2016 at 13:14

Two Corinthians walked into a bar, with a duck …. what pig?

There is a fascinating 19th century science experiment. As the story goes, researchers found that when they put a frog in a pan of boiling water, the frog just quickly jumped out. On the other hand, when they put a frog in cold water and put the water to boil over time, the frog just boiled to death. The hypothesis is that the change in temperature is so gradual, the frog does not realize it’s boiling to death.

Before this is all over trump will be ready for serving.

      But the meal is toxic.

It’s fun to watch Trump get indignant.
