NRA encourages parents to keep guns in kids’ rooms

The National Rifle Association believes this is a good place to store firearms.

During a seminar on “home defense concepts” at the National Rifle Association’s annual meeting in Louisville, an instructor encouraged gun owners to store firearms in their children’s bedrooms.

Rob Pincus, who owns the popular firearm instruction company I.C.E. Training, paced across a conference room stage as he repeatedly warned against the threat of violent home invasions. After establishing that filling one’s home with weapons is the only solution, he then recommended that gun owners store firearms in their kids’ rooms for easy access.

“Why would you consider staging a firearm inside a child’s room?” he told the few hundred NRA members in attendance. “It’s the first place I’m going to go! As I’ve said…many times, if your kid is going to break into the safe just because it’s in their room, you have a parenting issue, not a home defense issue.”

That’s right. Every child should have a loaded firearm in their bedroom. That way, when parents ground the children for poor grades, just shoot them. Problem solved.

sigh, sometimes children do not think rationally. It’s not a parenting issue, it’s a human issue, which is why they are kids, and supposedly, adults are adults.

why keep an extremely dangerous firearm in close proximity when you can easily secure your home from any house invasion by merely strapping a small nuclear arm on your back with a pressure release triggering device.

look at the records: -thousands of Americans killed year after year after year….and compare that with the total deaths of Americans due to nuclear arms being used..

    nice comparison, huh.

BE RESPONSIBLE, BE RATIONAL and let children grow up with children’s toys.

GO WITH NUCLEAR ARMS – it’s your right under the 2nd amendment of the US Constitution.

the human brain is not fully developed until it is about 25 yrs old….it isn’t a parenting problem, it is biology……it is the reason maybe without knowing it, that car rental places don’t rent cars to kids under 25. A parent can not develop a brain and the last thing fully developed is the part that judges unsafe behavior. It is why teens get involved with sex and drugs……they don’t make good choices because of their brains being undeveloped……children making mistakes is why in most states kids can’t sign legal contracts, rent an apartment, vote, or do lots of things that adults can do…..but the NRA wants to trust them with loaded guns.

We lose more than one young child per week in America due to guns. Isn’t that enough?

Sending a child or teen to their room could become a very scary thing to do
