The United States is growing its presence in Syria. President Obama:

“Just as I approved additional support for Iraqi forces against ISIL, I’ve decided to increase U.S. support for local forces fighting ISIL in Syria, a small number of special operations forces are already on the ground in Syria and their expertise has been critical as local forces have driven ISIL out of key areas,” Obama said, using another acronym for the jihadist group.

“So given their success I’ve approved the deployment of up to 250 additional U.S. personnel in Syria including special forces to keep up this momentum,” he said.

      I hope your bubble of optimism does not blow up in your face B, but I doubt 250 whatevers will have any effect on the quagmire totally created by the arrival, presence, departure and rearrival of some americans in cammo garb.

        Me too…I am really not as optimistic as you might think…I believe that PBO knows something we don’t…

        we add 250 more and the enemy adds ?????? somehow we are not getting a total battlefield count

    Wasn’t that how Vietnam started? (The war, not the country.) We sent advisers?
