Bieber’s insensitivity rankles Prince fans

You can’t buy class.

On Thursday, the 22-year-old pop brat stirred up the social sphere after leaving an insensitive comment on rocker Andrew Watt’s touching Instagram tribute to Prince, in which Watt dubbed the fallen star, “the last of the greatest living performers.”

In the since deleted comment, Bieber replied, “Well not the last greatest living performer.”

Both fans of Prince and Watt did not take too kindly to Bieber’s unwarranted two cents.

    He’s a performer? In that case, we have to find a different term to apply to Prince, because there’s no way they’re in the same category. Human being is another thing they don’t have in common.

        don’t cha just love it when they tweet something and immediately take it down, then realize how badly they fk’d up? too bad they aren’t quick enough. this is so gonna come back to bite him in the ass. a Canadian twit saying something negative when it comes to Prince is not going to go over well.

    Bieber is a self centered, arrogant little pr*ck. This is how he signed the guest book in the Anne Frank house:

    “Truly inspiring to be able to come here. Anne was a great girl. Hopefully she would have been a belieber,”

    I’ve given the Beeb quite a bit of slack over the years – he was basically a little kid during most of his controversies… but he’s 22 now, I’ll give him the respect of holding him fully accountable for his actions moving forward.
