Sanders health care plan includes ‘aspiring Americans’
That is a wonderful term for “undocumented immigrants.”
Sanders’s plan includes coverage for undocumented immigrants, which wasn’t even explicitly mentioned in the proposal he released to his website. Instead, an aide confirmed to Politico late last night that millions of illegal residents would receive health care coverage under his envisioned single-payer plan.
The term used by senior policy adviser Warren Gunnels was actually “aspiring Americans,” which I quite prefer to “undocumented immigrants.” Aspiring Americans were very carefully left out of the universal healthcare proposed and implemented during PresidentBarack Obama‘s tenure, so their inclusion here marks even more of a drastic departure from Obamacare than voters initially saw yesterday.

Aspiring Americans was left out to get repub votes, not maliciously.

Aspiring Americans should be included, because one way or another, they get care here and it would make sense to do it the cheapest way possible, not the most expensive way possible.

Hey, they are working and paying taxes and get those deductions just like the rest of us. They should be paying in too and if they are healthy, they can work more and pay more taxes just like the rest of us.
