The only Chick-Fil-A restaurant New York City was abruptly shut down on December 30 when incredibly unsanitary conditions were discovered during two health inspections. Some of the violations discovered by the inspectors included flies around and in the food!

One New York City resident even tweeted out news of the closure, along with a list of the health violations (shown in red) the restaurant was cited and closed for:

The flies are Christians. They’re being persecuted.

Flies are the new rightwing Gods?

  5. Sweet Sir Walter January 4th, 2016 at 11:30

I’ve tried those desiccated mystery meat sandwiches. Flies would be an improvement.

    • rg9rts January 4th, 2016 at 13:21

If they get the seasonings right.

              • Larry Schmitt January 4th, 2016 at 13:57

Never eaten at one of their places. I’d rather have a chicken sammich I made myself, so I know what’s in it. Evidently a lot of people are majorly bummed by their getting rid of the cole slaw. How good can it be? It’s just cabbage and mayo and vinegar.

    • Dwendt44 January 4th, 2016 at 12:36

And no where near as good as KFC’s cole slaw.

      • Larry Schmitt January 4th, 2016 at 13:56

I’d rather get it from a good deli.

Meanwhile, Chipotle mexican grill is serving up e-coli in restaurants from one coast to another and the government still hasn’t shut them down. Both restaurants should be shut down pronto.
Besides Chipotle actually getting people sick, what is the difference between Chipotle and Chic-fila?

    • rg9rts January 4th, 2016 at 13:20

      gods they serve

    • Kevin777 January 4th, 2016 at 17:39

The Boston Chipolte was not E. coli but a Norovirus breakout.

    • bpollen January 5th, 2016 at 06:42

Chipotle doesn’t make a point of proclaiming their belief in Quetzalcoatl to justify spending money trying to disenfranchise a portion of our population?

  10. rg9rts January 4th, 2016 at 13:20

    Maggots are protein

    • Frightened_American January 4th, 2016 at 18:05

      Rice that moves! :>)

With so many eating choices in NYC, why would anybody go to Chick-Fil-A

    • Larry Schmitt January 4th, 2016 at 17:26

That’s why there’s only one. I’m amazed when I go to a place popular with tourists, and the McDonald’s are always jammed. Don’t those people ever eat anything else? I don’t eat fast food when I’m home, I’m sure as hell not going to when I travel.

      • bushputz January 4th, 2016 at 21:59

Yeah. Whenever I travel, I try to ask the locals for their favorite Mom & Pop hole-in-the-wall eatery. I’m almost never disappointed.

  12. Frightened_American January 4th, 2016 at 18:04

Did anyone there claim to be the “Lord of the Flies”? If anyone did, their hypothetical claim to be Satan could be interpreted as religious persecution.

    • Mensa Member January 4th, 2016 at 22:05

oh, you beat me to the joke!

      • Frightened_American January 5th, 2016 at 18:16

        :>) Just lucky I guess.

  13. CgntvDssdnt January 4th, 2016 at 18:23

    pestilence!

  14. Mensa Member January 4th, 2016 at 22:04

CEO Dan Cathy follows The Lord (of the Flies).

  15. Bunya January 4th, 2016 at 22:05

I’m confused. How is insect infestation synonymous with religious persecution? These religious flakes are really grasping at straws here.

    • Mensa Member January 4th, 2016 at 22:07

      Lice are next.

      • bpollen January 5th, 2016 at 06:36

How about flied lice? They’ve got the flies already…

    • tracey marie January 4th, 2016 at 22:12

maybe they were angel insects from the zoaptera order

  16. bpollen January 5th, 2016 at 06:35

Do flies go with that shake?

    (Apologies to George Clinton)
