Local authorities and Christians are not amused.

This is the second year Dixon has displayed the zombie nativity, but town officials say Dixon needs a permit for the display. Yet when he applied for one, he was turned down. So now he faces a fine of $500 a day as long as it remains….READ MORE at LiberalAmerica

I think if he takes them to court…he’d win …freedom of expression ring any bells???

I’d like to hear their justification for requiring a permit in the first place. Do other christmas displays require a permit? I highly doubt it. Someone at City Hall didn’t think this through.

I think you’re right at the Federal Level, but with the poor oppressed and persecuted local ‘christians’ (that probably have the fake Italian baby Jesus and 3 men from the east that never saw the baby Jesus in the display) have local precedence over any Federal Laws (ref. the 4X Adulterous christian woman in Kentucky).

eg: US Citizens are free to obey the local ruling christians, like it or not.

I wonder how many of his fellow residents have permits for their displays?

    • granpa.usthai December 7th, 2015 at 14:03

they’re just saying that to try to force their F’d up dishonest version of events on those of another faith.

but I don’t see a damn thing in the NT where it says Jesus hates babies – or even zombies (being that He could technically be classified as one).

    WTF!

are these arrogant church prostitutes saying Jesus don’t love zombies?

    how crude!

one could only hope that the township will make Mr. Dixon a VERY WEALTHY man, so damn wealthy he will be able to display a zombie township with zombie churches, a zombie shopping center and a zombie airport with a dancing room for the local ‘ Konservative Kristian Krowd’ to entertain themselves in.

The article states that the people complaining think this zombie is upsetting God. If God has time to worry about an effing zombie and an effing nativity scene, is She actually paying attention to what is happening in the damn world right now?

I swear, at least half of Ohio is populated by barbaric, unlettered heathens whose idea of intelligence comes from a book about invisible omnipotence, the other half is busy trying to catch or trap Bigfoot from their backyards…….imbeciles.

In other words, ‘our mythical being is more important than your mythical being.’

Didn’t Jesus rise from the dead…
Does that not make him a zombie?..
