i would say, that even though it may be legal to carry, there’s still something in me that screams common sense when you get a 911 call about someone carrying an assault riffle openly on the streets, that just out of precaution SEND THE FK’N COPS!!!!!!!!!!

This is very sad news – but I’m not surprised. What does it say about the U.S. where a soldier can serve 3 tours in a supposedly dangerous county like Iraq without incidence, yet is killed when he returns home?

Because people are stupid.
It’s unavoidable…even with evolution and survival of the fittest, there will always be that portion of the population that makes the rest scratch their heads and wonder how they survived childhood.
Take heart; in 500 years, Liberaland.mind (run by a few spare terabytes of the digitized brain of Alan Colmes) will probably have an article about how there was yet another death because some 8 year old didn’t learn their vector calculus, and tried to launch a rocket to Luna City without enough H.
