California Legalizes Physician-Assisted Suicide

Governor Jerry Brown signed a bill making suicide legal with the help of a physician.

The law, based on a similar measure in Oregon, allows doctors to prescribe medication to end a patient’s life if two doctors agree the person has only six months to live and is mentally competent.

    What if they have 7 months? Seriously, I do not know if I could ever do such a thing, but I have also never been in excrutiating pain due to an illness that is killing me. Let people make their own end of life solutions.

    I was going to say just go to school in Oregon
    but it turns out they’re the only other state that has legal termination law.

    what if a person is tired of all the shit and wants to leave? Are they left to their own devices? Keeps a gun by the bed? Arsenic in the fridge. Iyt’s a narrow and relatively meaningless gesture.
