Uh-Oh, he’s got a redshirt!

Star Trek nerds know that the Kobayashi Maru is a no-win training scenario that is designed to see how leaders react under pressure of imminent failure.

I mention this only because our old pal Erick Erickson, the captian of the RedState blog has decided to lead his forced-birthers into battle over the lack of willpower to defund Planned Parenthood over the dirty tricks that Y’all Qaeda has long planned:

“If Republicans are not willing to make this their hill to die on and even see the government shutdown to stop this, the Republican Party needs to be shut down.”

Good Morning, it seems there is a race on where the Stupidest and Most Outrageous Commenter wins. Hilary seems to be an outcast because she talks about President type things. I love her old fashion approach to Politics and campaigning.

I am ashamed that Erickson and I hail from the same city in Middle GA. He was a city council member here, until he got the CNN gig, and he was as divisive here as he has been on the national level. When he announced he wasn’t running to be reelected to the city council, even republicans were happy because many of them also see him as an attention-seeking, bomb-throwing, divisive *ss whose only interest is himself. The guy is a toxic ingredient in politics, local, state, and national. He’s always urging others to get their hands dirty while he sits behind the scenes and watches the action. Coward.

Crap – I knew the name “Kobayashi Maru” but didn’t remember what it was. Time to hang up the Spock ears, I guess. Can I still be a fan of George Takei?
