His new book, written with daughter Liz, is an attempt to make a splash on the national stage by injecting himself into policy debates.

“The effort is sure to play directly into the 2016 presidential debate, in which national-security policy is already a point of difference between the Republican candidates, many of whom are looking to turn the page on George W. Bush’s administration.”

Ever notice how right wingers worship the former Vice President while they simultaneously rail against liberals and Democrats whose careers have been in politics and not the private sector?

Other than a 5 year stint as CEO of Halliburton 1995-2000, Cheney’s professional career has been entirely in government. As we all know, Halliburton relies on government (e.g. taxpayer) funds for its profits or it might not even exist at all.

I suspect that the irony never occurs to them that as they rail against government, their messiahs, Cheney, Palin, Santorum et al have little or no experience in any endeavor other than government.
