Black Conservatives Trying To Get Condi Rice To Run For Senate

Posted by | February 24, 2015 11:30 | Filed under: Politics Top Stories

The Black Conservatives Fund thinks this is the only way Republicans can win a Senate seat in California.

The group sent out a fundraising email to supporters Tuesday morning asking for donations to encourage the former diplomat now teaching at Stanford University to run for the open seat.

Rice has repeatedly said she won’t run, but the latest Field Poll on the race showed she’d be a formidable candidate if she changes her mind. It found her with 49 percent of the vote, compared to 46 percentfor Attorney General Kamala Harris, the Democrat now see as the race’s frontrunner.

It would be nice to see her have to answer for the Bush lies she promoted in helping us invade Iraq….

It would be nice, however, much like the others in Shrub’s cabal of liars & war-profiteers Condi is, just as Darth Cheney and Wolfowitz, still vehemently unwilling or unable to admit the reality which the rest of the world see’s.

Condi can you explain this again. how its all legal if the President said so. You might want to brush up a little before you have to debate this.

You completely changed the words, and therefore the meaning, of what she said. She did NOT say it was legal(or illegal), she stated:
“By definition, if it was authorized by the President, it didn’t violate our obligations under the Convention against Torture.”
There is a very specific part to that No. 24841 that makes what she stated accurate.

In the 1970’s, liberals argued that:

    1. women were just as qualified as men to serve in politics
    2. minorities were just as qualified as whites to serve in politics
    3. if women were in politics, they would fight to end all wars

Give yourselves credit, liberals. Most people now agree with you on points (1) and (2).

Two out of three ain’t bad.

Still working on #3. I like Condi Rice although I doubt I would vote for her in a contest against AG Harris. But Ms. Rice’s civil tone is a welcome relief from the vitriol in today’s politics.

It is curious though that so many Republicans criticize the President because he has no business background. However those concerns evaporate for them as we see upon reviewing Ms. Rice’s resume, she has precious little experience in the private sector other than sitting on corporate boards. Her career has been primarily in academia or government.

She is civil but she is wrong about everything. She is also dishonest and a neo-con

As I said, I doubt I would vote for her.

But when it comes to Republicans, she is about as good as we are going to get for the forseeable future.

And she got the Saddam Hussein stamp of approval! Now if Putin and Nut-and-yahoo support her, she’s a shoe-in.
