As Anomaly reports:
It’s disturbing how armed angry white guys are treated differently by police than unarmed black men. But, to hear an Open Carry activist tell it, they’re victims…
Cordova sports a Ron Paul “rEVOLution” tattoo on his right arm.
In the video, he clearly states that he wants to be arrested. Wish granted!
Tamir Rice, 12, was shot dead by a police officer because he held a toy gun in his hand. John Crawford was shot dead for holding a toy gun in Walmart. Michael Brown, Eric Garner, the list goes on.
Cordova wasn’t tazed, tossed to the ground, beaten or shot to death. He was gently handled while screaming into the faces of the arresting officers after hassling them while they were on duty trying to do their jobs.

my son is bi-racial, his father is (full blood scot) white, i’m part sicilian, black with light skin, all lives matter to me. but, black (dark skinned or crayola brown) male lives have been an endangered race at the hands of racism throughout the decades, especially by those in law enforcement. their lives matter and their lives are being stolen away from their mothers, daughters, sons, fathers, brothers, sisters, etc. they are stretching.

My brother’s wife is black. She’s an amazing woman. They have a gorgeous little girl (I’m biased, mmaky) and I don’t want her to live in a world that accepts that walking while black is a criminal offense. But we the people can change that if we try.

Agreed, and this is an extreme example, though we should be glad that no one is killed in these incidents. It would be nice if officers of the law (and justice) were color blind.

Or the lack of police violence, as the OP suggest, because he is white? It does not appear race played any role in Mr. Cordova’s arrest, or continued existence.
Another report states Cordova’s arrest also involved an earlier incident, not shown, allegedly interfering in a domestic emergency call involving an old woman with a rifle. I’d like to see that video. I think the cops practiced enormous restraint, and put him and his partner on notice, “This is the the line, you cross the line, you go to jail!” However, it’s unlikely there’s a legal or political remedy. We muddle on.
This should be a good reason for the police and Open Carry to sit down and work out mutually agreed ground-rules, before someone gets hurt. It is not unreasonable to ask observer groups to not interject civilian fire arms into an uncleared crime scene that may already be hot.
