Katy Perry To Headline Super Bowl Halftime
Super Bowl XLIX will feature Katy Perry at halftime.
Click here for reuse options!Rihanna and Coldplay were also shortlisted but lost out to the flirty but wholesome Perry.
With the Super Bowl bringing in a record-breaking 111.5 million viewers in 2014, it was also suggested the league wanted artists to pay to perform.
Perry shot down that report Saturday on ESPN.
“I’m not the kind of girl who would pay to play,” she said.

Too bad lead singer Corey Taylor would be forced to refrain from the use of multiple “F” bombs, the masks would scare some people, and some people would think the masks are cheesy, all while ignoring the music performed.
