CNN Turns To Fiction Writer To Weigh In On Ebola

Who better to get advice on Ebola from than a writer who makes things up?

CNN…is now turning to fiction writer Robin Cook to scare the living bejesus out of its viewers. Next up: Wolf Blitzer will interview Stephen King about precautions you should take to guard against werewolf attacks during the next full moon.

Oh sure, Robin Cook is a doctor -– of ophthalmology…

Cook did once write a book about an Ebola outbreak titled, creatively, Outbreak. So maybe he did his research and knows what he’s talking about?

On the other hand, the book was published in 1987. And it involved a conspiracy of doctors purposely planting the virus in health care centers to cause a crisis for some weird reason, which we’re pretty sure is not the case here…

The interview does not get off to a promising start when the first question out of Don “…Lemon’s mouth is, “Are we going overboard here?”

Cook, who has no vested interest in keeping people terrified of medical mysteries, answers, “I don’t think we are. I think that something like Ebola, this type of illness, is probably the scariest thing we can deal with.”

For anyone interested in something a little more informative. I watched this the other night and found it pretty informative … http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/nova/body/surviving-ebola.html

Typical librul, watchin’ PBS and fillin’ your noggin with nonsense like science and facts, instead of watchin’ FOX like a real Murrikkkin for your dairy dose of paranoia and hysteria.

A very difficult, heart-wrenching NOVA report, informative, perspective yet could do without the dramatic background music… Tobacco-based Zmac drug highly effective with infected monkeys, and so far 3 humans, but 2 treated succumbed. Needs to be mass-produced for use in hot zones. A lot of people are working as fast at they can to get the drug out there to the folks who desperately need it. Biotechnology; it just might save your species one day.

I’m really not surprised. They get a lot of their ideas from George Orwell already.

Of course it’s not fiction. It’s a scandal. Obama is importing Ebola to make everyone sign up for Obamacare. Film at 11.
