Herman Cain Insists Tea Party Still ‘Very Strong’
Click here for reuse options!“The tea party movement, in terms of its impact, is still very strong,” Cain said on Fox News. “The key thing is it’s called many of the incumbents to move more towards the right relative to what the tea party message is.”
Cain cited a recent Washington Post-ABC News poll that found an all-time low approval rating for Congress, with 51 percent of respondents disapproving of how their own representative was “handling his or her job.”
“I think the dissatisfaction is growing but not necessarily translating to the ballot box so far,” he said.
