Donald Sterling Tries To Help Himself By Attacking Magic Johnson Again
The 80-year-old billionaire slumlord, who received a lifetime ban from the NBA and a $2.5 million fine, saved his most outrageous comments for the man he insulted on the original secret recording. Of NBA legend Magic Johnson, Sterling said on the tape, “Admire him, bring him here, feed him, f**k him, but don’t put [Magic] on an Instagram for the world to have to see so they have to call me. And don’t bring him to my games.” Now, to Cooper:
Sterling told CNN he’s spoken twice with Johnson.
“Did you apologize to him?” Cooper asked.
“If I said anything wrong, I’m sorry,” Sterling said. “He’s a good person. I mean, what am I going to say? Has he done everything he can do to help minorities? I don’t think so. But I’ll say it, he’s great. But I don’t think he’s a good example for the children of Los Angeles.“
Way to go, Mr. Sterling, (nee´Tokowitz). Nice way to rehabilitate your image as a not-racist and friend of Magic Johnson.

Sterling is a great example for the children of Los Angeles don’t you think? Truly this man has no self awareness of how his comments are reflecting only profound ignorance & ego malfunction. Being racist is ok if you’re “playing with a girl” ? Maybe it’s just that sex is so important to him that he’s willing to insult anyone to get some…
Or, maybe he’s addicted to having so much power & control that he really doesn’t get it!

I have noticed since Obama has been The Prez. A Republican Apology does not contain the actul things needed to be considered an apology..They are always lacking .Its Like when The “FONZ” couldn’t say the words he was “wrong’..Its like it is no longer in their vocabularies..I am so worried that big money will buy the elections,But Everywhere I see are idiots exposing their true thinking and agendas.And i have to believe that sooner or later.The ignorant people will open their eyes and see who is really looking out for their best interest..One day it will happen..I hope I live to see that day’..

{A new spin on the “Gotcha” journalism theme. Why am I not surprised he would resort to this excuse? He’s been through the “pity me, I am very ill” excuse already. What’s left? “I was heavily medicated at the time I exposed myself as a racist.”??
Any apology that begins with “If I said anything wrong…” should automatically be rejected. The whole point of an apology is to admit that your recognize your mistake and its impact. It also implies that now that you understand the error of your ways, you will do you best not to let it happen again. That you have now been at least been sensitized to the problem.
Qualifying an apology with “if” as Sterling does (and most Republicans do), means the offender still doesn’t grasp the situation and is implying that it was a miscommunication or that the problem is related to the sensibilities of the offended.} — Nomad
