Tank Cancels Singing National Anthem At Clippers Game

R&B singer Tank has bowed out of an Clippers engagement.

The “I Can’t Make You Love Me” crooner told TMZ.com that he’s so disgusted with the racist diatribe apparently made by Los Angeles Clippers owner Don Sterling, he won’t go through with a planned performance of the national anthem at Tuesday’s home playoff game.

“As an African-American man and artist, I must take a stand on a matter that is so deeply personal to me,” Tank told the gossip site.

“In light of the recent disturbing and offensive allegations, in good conscience, I cannot move forward with my scheduled appearance at Tuesday’s Los Angeles Clippers game.”
