Family Values Republican Vance McAllister, Louisiana’s so-called, kissing Congressman, will not be running for re-election:

U.S. Rep. Vance McAllister, R-Swartz, told the The News-Star in Monroe that he won’t be seeking reelection to his seat next fall.

The decision comes after Gov. Bobby Jindal, Louisiana’s Republican Party state chairman Roger Villere and others asked McAllister to step down early after the married congressman was caught on video kissing a member of his staff.

Mr. McAllister plans to serve the remainder of his term, which expires in December. Besides being famous for kissing other people’s wives, McAllister is known for befriending Duck Dynasty’s Willie Robertson and inviting him to attend President Obama’s State of the Union Address.
