Bachmann At CPAC: Conservative Movement Is ‘Intellectual’ At its Core

One wonders who she might be talking about since Willam F. Buckley, Jr. is no longer with us.

She said, “Our movement at its core is an intellectual movement. We are based on the greatest ideas that have ever been conceived in the mind of man.”

Bachmann also emphasized principles of individual responsibility, continuing, “Nothing in our Constitution says government is supposed to be a charity. Government is not the family. It is not the church. and certainly it should never be our doctor’s office.”

She decried “Washington bureaucracy” and said that America will survive because it’s stood the test of time before and “we will survive Barack Obama too!”
