Vast Right Wing Conspiracy Comes Out Of Woodwork To Attack Clintons

First it was Rand Paul dredging up a 15-year-old scandal. Then, RNC Chair Reince Priebus intimated this would be a line of attack if Hillary Clinton runs for president. Next, a conservative website revealed the diary of a late friend of Hillary Clinton’s, Diane Blair, and attempted to use that to put the former First Lady, Senator, and Secretary of State in a bad light. And, now, a right-wing conspiracy website reports on a right-wing talk sho that brought on one of Bill Clinton’s former accusers, Kathleen Willey, to reissue old charges.

“Hillary Clinton is the war on women, and that’s what needs to be exposed here,” Willey said Sunday night on Aaron Klein’s WABC Radio show.

“The point is what this woman is capable of doing to other women while she’s running a campaign basically on women’s issues. It just doesn’t make any sense. She singlehandedly orchestrated every one of the investigations of all these women [who accused her husband of sexual crimes]. They’re the people reminding us of how sordid this all is.”

Is this what Republicans think will win them back the White House? They’re wrong. But, even if they were right, their timing is terrible. If they want to do all the mud-throwing now, there’ll be no more mud left to throw by the time it’s election season. Besides, it’s old mud, anyway.

Now, the only thing older than these recycled attacks are Republicans’ recycled policies on heath care and immigration.
