The Republican leadership wants its members to bring those who’ve had family members killed in Benghazi and those who believe they’ve been victimized by Obamcare as guests to the State of the Union Address.

Rep. Jim Bridenstine announced Monday that he will be bringing the father of one of the victims of the U.S. consulate attack in Benghazi, Libya, as his guest to Tuesday’s State of the Union address.

The Oklahoma Republican said Charles Woods, the father of Navy SEAL Ty Woods, who was killed in the 2012 terrorist attack, will accompany him as President Barack Obama delivers his annual address to Congress…

Republicans have been inviting their own guests for the evening. According to Bridenstine’s announcement, the Republican leadership has encouraged its members to bring so-called victims of Obamacare to the speech, but Bridenstine said as a combat veteran, he wanted to bring “a genuine victim of failed foreign policy.”
