It was introduced at a pro-life conference put on by the Family Research Council called, without irony, “Pro Life Con.” It the app doesn’t do much other than let you pray, which you can surely do without an app. But here’s what it claims:

Download the Online for Life App to receive real-time alerts on women seeking abortions in your area. Invite your friends to join you in prayer and share the good news when a woman chooses life.

As Gawker explains:

You get a screen…that piles up messages telling you how an anonymous woman “considering an abortion” just got in touch with a “PRC”—a pregnancy resource center, one of the faux-clinics run by Online for Life’s partners, where they distribute misinformation to pregnant women in order to convince them not to terminate their pregnancies.
