Edward Snowden’s Ex Left ‘To Fend For Herself’ Says Father

Lindsay Mills was the spy’s girlfriend left out in the cold, claims her father.

NSA leaker Edward Snowden left his girlfriend in dire straits – without any forewarning or finances – while she was left to “come up with a plan for herself,” her father said.

Speaking with the UK’s Telegraph newspaper, Jonathan Mills said his daughter Lindsay, a dancer, “was left to fend for herself” after Snowden disclosed massive amounts of classified information on the National Security Agency’s wide-reaching surveillance on millions of Americans.

The couple had been living in Hawaii, where Snowden worked as a contractor for the government agency.

Snowden had told her that he was only going to Hong Kong on a business trip and said he’d be back in a matter of weeks, Mills said in an interview outside of his home in Washington.

His heartbroken ex, meanwhile, had to find out the truth of what happened on the nightly news, Mills said.
