Phil Robertson To Appear On New Duck Dynasty Episodes

A&E has no intention of firing the star of their biggest show, and may even regret suspending him. Or, maybe they just wanted to have it both ways to show they’re both politically correct and concerned about their bottom line.

A source close to the situation told Entertainment Weekly that while Robertson has been suspended from the network, they still plan to air episodes of Duck Dynasty featuring him when the fourth season debuts January 15.

The source added that the network doesn’t want to fire Robertson, and that they even want to include him in a fifth season.

‘There’s no negotiation to have; we’re doing the show,’ the source told EW. ‘We’ll figure out a solution. It’s just not going to happen overnight. Everybody will take a break for the holidays and regroup afterward. That’s probably the smartest thing for everyone to do. Time heals a lot of wounds.’

Depends what the meaning of “indefinitely” is.
