Mexico Says Justin Bieber Is Lying

Bieber Tweeted that he met with President Enrique Pena Nieto and his family, but the Mexican government says it’s not so.

“Just met some amazing mexican beliebers and the presidente of mexico and his familia. now it is showtime. 60,000 tonight. night 1. te amo,” the 19-year-old star wrote.

But El Presidente’s office tweeted minutes later to its 845,289 followers: “@PresidenciaMX denies a meeting between the holder of the executive @EPN and the singer @justinbieber.”

The president, it turns out, was meeting with his cabinet at his official residence of Los Pinos.
