9:00pmEST: Polls have closed in New York, and Bill DeBlasio is projected by multiple news outlets to be the next mayor of New York City. Progressivism returns to the city that never sleeps.

8:55pmEST: All of the cable networks trying to make a big story about how “close” the VA-Gov race is, but a few exit polls show McAuliffe winning outside the margin of error and gains for Dems in Virginia’s legislature.

8:11pmEST: NBC projects Democrat Ralph Northam will beat Bishop E.W. Jackson in the VA LtGov race.

8:00pmEST: Cable news networks call NJ-Gov for Chris Christie.  We’re shocked. Not.  NY Times predicts Christie will win by a 22% margin. While VA-Gov is too close to call, MSNBC is making much of Terry McAuliffe being in the exit-poll lead.
