Ann Coulter: Government Shutdown Was ‘Magnificent’

Despite abysmal failure on every level that counts, a few GOP apologists are still telling themselves that the recent government shutdown worked out just fine.

The latest is our favorite denier-that-life-works-in-three-discernible-dimensions, the redoubtable Ann Coulter.

Last night, Ann showed why her America is not the America you’ve seen on the map:

“This is why I think the shutdown was so magnificent, run beautifully, I’m so proud of these Republicans, and that is because they have branded the Republican Party as the anti-Obamacare party.”

We hope — no, we pray — that Ann and her fellow talking heads on the right continue to think precisely this, and that right-wing politicians follow her canny lead.

Because election time is just one year away.
