Blame Boehner

So here we are, exactly where everyone to the left of Ted Cruz (which is to say nearly everyone) predicted we would be.

Hundreds of thousands of people were out of work for weeks.  The economy took a $24 billion hit.  Obamacare is stronger than ever.  And the deal that ended the shutdown is virtually identical to one that could have been reached before it started.

The only thing different (and I must admit I am a bit surprised) is that the Suicide Caucus in the House now likes Boehner more after a humiliating defeat.

Was it worth it Mister Speaker?
