Relief: Michele Bachmann Announces She’s Never Twerked

In spite of Miley Cyrus playing Michele Bachmann on Saturday Night Live, the congresswoman has said she’s never twerked, even though Miley Cyrus is mistaken for her.

“I have a good sense of humor and I never take that personally and I’ve probably been lampooned six or seven times on Saturday Night Live and that’s all done in good fun,” she explained. “What was kind of funny is the Monday after Saturday Night Live aired, we had a lot of calls in the office [and] people thought that actually was me in the skit.”

“And I will tell you as a 57-year-old woman, it’s been a long time since I’ve been confused for a 20-year-old.”

“I’m guessing you don’t do a lot of twerking,” Humphries noted.

“No, no, I’ve never done twerking in my life and I don’t intend to take it up,” Bachmann insisted.
