McDonald’s put the above budget together for its minimum wage workers (h/t Robyn Pennacchia).  A few observations:

— Where are you going to get health insurnce for $20 a month?

— No heat for you!

— $27 a day to spend on food, gas, medicine, and any other necessities of daily life.

— And best of all they assume you will take another job for 25-30 hours per week to live at this intolerable level!

Thanks to McDonald’s for making the case for a higher minimum wage better than any of us crazy liberals could.
