Mark Kelly, NRA’s LaPierre To Testify On Gun Violence Tuesday

Wayne LaPierre will appear before the Senate Judiciary Committee, as will Gabby Giffords’ husband Mark Kelly.

Kelly and Giffords — who was critically injured in a shooting in Tucson, Ariz., two years ago — recently started an anti-gun violence group. LaPierre and the NRA strongly oppose President Obama’s gun control proposals, announced in the wake of the Newtown shooting.

The Senate committee hearing is titled “What Should America Do About Gun Violence?”
