Gaffetastic! Stephanopoulos Mistakes Bill Russell For Morgan Freeman

ABC’s George Stephanopulos made a memorable gaffe during his coverage of President Obama’s second inauguration on Monday.

Spotting an elderly black man in the crowd, Stephanopulos said, “that’s Morgan Freeman, I think.” It turned out that it was basketball legend Bill Russell. Whoops! Stephanopoulos quickly apologized.
