Report: Denis McDonough Likely To Be Next WH Chief Of Staff

Bloomberg says the announcement could come next week.

Selecting McDonough would elevate one of the president’s former congressional staff members whose loyalty to him is unquestioned, according to people familiar with the matter who requested anonymity to discuss personnel decisions…

“Denis has been one of the people the president has most trusted and depended on,” said Bill Burton, Obama’s former deputy press secretary. “He is extraordinarily talented, extremely intelligent and unbelievably loyal in a town where loyalty is not always rewarded.”
