Pro-gun rocker and activist Ted Nugent says political correctness is to blame for the Newtown tragedy.

“The ugly and dangerous truth is that we live in an embarrassing, politically correct culture that exalts and rejoices in the bizarre; aggressively promotes an ‘anything goes’ value system; and vilifies, condemns and mocks traditional societal values and customs at every opportunity,” Nugent wrote. “We’ve embraced a culture of contempt that attacks the very institutions that make for a healthy and strong society, and then we’re shocked when it spirals out of control. The only thing I’m shocked about is that anybody is shocked.”

Pro-gun activist Nugent dismisses the notion — put forth by “blabbermouths,” as Nugent calls them — that tighter gun control will help prevent future tragedies.

“Some blabbermouths already are using the Connecticut school massacre to promote their anti-gun agenda even though more gun laws won’t prevent a psychotic from getting a gun and killing us,” Nugent said.

Yes, the moral arbiter who recently told a reporter, who suggested Nugent isn’t a moderate, that he could ingest a part of his anatomy, told President Obama to do the same thing to his machine gun, and called Hillary Clinton a “worthless bitch” is calling for decency.
