Relative Stabbed In Neck With Turkey Fork During Thanksgiving Dinner

A Maryland woman decided it was time to end a family feud.

Shenika Allsup, 27, got into a heated argument with her half brother, Deonte Antionio Wallace, 23, during Thanksgiving dinner in Annapolis, Md.

But on the holiday of gratitude and togetherness, Allsup did not stop with words. She found a weapon among the utensils for the holiday’s central feast.

Allsup wielded a serving fork intended for the turkey and went for Wallace’s jugular.

Wallace’s injuries were not life-threatening.

 Allsup, for her part in the skirmish, was arrested and taken to the Jennifer Road Detention Center. She faces charges for first- and second-degree assault as well as reckless endangerment. Her bail is set at $1 million, according to authorities.
